Didn't Get Eclipse Glasses? This Easy iPhone Lifehack Lets You Watch Safely

It seems that everyone scrambled for those special glasses to watch today's solar eclipse, but what about the people who couldn't get their hands on any? What can they do to enjoy the phenomenon without going blind? Well thankfully, all they really need is an iPhone.

Because of the way it is designed, Apple says you won't damage your iPhone camera by pointing it at the eclipse. That means you can turn your back to the sun and put your phone on selfie mode and watch the eclipse over your shoulder on your phone.

Be sure to get lots of selfies while you do it but be careful - there are doctors who suggest even watching on your phone can cause damage because the screen reflects the harmful ultraviolet rays.
