Roanoke Police are investigating a shooting that happened early Saturday morning.
Police said officers responded to Orange Avenue, NW where they found and adult female and adult male with gunshot wounds.
The shooter, who police said identified herself as Kimberly Gollop, 48, of Roanoke, was still on the scene,
Police said the adult female, male, and Gollop were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The adult female was pronounced dead around 9 a.m. that morning.
Police said the identity of the victims are being withheld until their next of kin is notified.
