February 26, 2018 - (Roanoke, VA) - Roanoke Police say a woman was sent to the hospital last night after being hit by a vehicle.
The woman, who has not been identified by police, was walking in the 1700 block of Hanover Avenue, N.W. when she was hit by a dark colored sedan as she started to cross the street around 8:10 p.m. She was taken to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital for treatment of upper body injuries.
