Area animal facilities are offering shelter for pets who may have been affected by Sunday's storm.
Learn Play Stay Doggie Resort in Rustburg announced that they will board any pets for free for those who have lost their homes or suffered damage to their homes.
The pets they keep include dogs, cats, iguana's fish, frogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, and more.
In addition, the Amherst County Animal Shelter will be providing temporary homes for animals that have been affected.
