Montgomery Co. Sheriff's Office: Pedestrian hit on 460 this morning

May 16, 2018 - The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is investigating an incident from this morning when a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle while attempting to cross the 460 east bypass.  

Lt. Mark Hollandsworth saying the individual, a 58-year-old male, was awake and communicating with rescue but was reported to have a broken leg and head injuries.  He was transported by Lifeguard to Roanoke Memorial Hospital.  

At this time, police have not identified the victim and his condition is unknown.

This is an on-going investigation.
