Two-time cancer survivor opens store for those going through difficult time

A Lynchburg woman wants to help those who need it the most.

Radar Anderson has opened up the store "Then and Now" on 12th Street in Lynchburg. The store offers free and discounted clothing, including gowns, dress shirts, shoes, jewelry and dresses.

Anderson says as a two-time cancer survivor she understands what it is like to go through a difficult time, so she now wants to give back to those who are facing tough situations.

"There are a lot of hurting families.  It may be a next-door neighbor, someone in your neighborhood you don't even know about and it's just good to be able to reach out and to help the hurting," Anderson said.
