State police are investigating a fatal car crash that occurred Saturday morning in Bedford County.
The accident happened at around 9:20 a.m. on Route 122, less than a mile south of Route 60.
Police say a 1998 Ford Explorer crossed the center line and hit a 2001 Ford Explorer head on.
Jennifer Downey Vasser, 53, of Big Island was driving the 2001 Ford. She was wearing her seat belt and was transported to Bedford Memorial Hospital where she later died.
