A couple of weeks ago, a quickly little trailer with co-stars Emily Blunt and Dwane "The Rock" Johnson gave us our first look at Disney's" Jungle Cruise which is currently slated to release October 11, 2019.
Currently, the movie is being filmed in Hawaii according to The Rock's Instagram. "Heartfelt MAHALO to my home state of HAWAII for once again being a beautiful and exotic backdrop for one of my films. And for welcoming me and a big production back to the islands to help boost some economics and help our hard working locals and businesses. "
While the short trailer (down below in case you missed it), has both in full costume goofing around telling fans that they are in for the adventure of a lifetime it doesn't show us a whole lot of the world of "Jungle Cruise."
Earlier today, The Rock took to his Instagram The Rock changed that. In a video where he shared a heart-felt message, and some of the history of the famous Disney ride, he then showed us one of the amazing sets that he says is built from scratch.
This thing is MASSIVE.
So far, not much is known about the movie. IMDb does provide a short description. "Based on Disneyland's theme park ride where a small riverboat takes a group of travelers through a jungle filled with dangerous animals and reptiles, but with a supernatural element."
I'll admit, I'm curious to see this when it comes out next year. But check out The Rock's video below!
