The eighties band Soft Cell is back with new music. The group, best known for their hit “Tainted Love,” has just released the new track “Northern Lights,” their first new single in 15 years.
The band’s frontman, Marc Almond describes the tune as “a celebration of our roots in northern soul.” The track is expected to appear on a Soft Cell compilation album, “The Singles – Keychains and Snowstorms,” which drops September 28th. They are set to play one final concert, at London's O2 Arena, on September 30th. Check out a clip of the song to the right.
