On Saturday, November 17, 2018, at approximately 10:30 p.m., Roanoke County Police officers responded to the 8200 block of Williamson Road in reference to a robbery. Information was received that a white female entered a store and demanded an undetermined amount of money from the clerk.
The suspect fled on foot and was apprehended by Roanoke County Police a short time later. No weapon was displayed during the robbery.
The suspect was identified as Shannon Michelle Lawrence, 37, of Roanoke. Lawrence was charged with Robbery (18.2‐58).
