While you're out clearing your sidewalks today, Virginia Professional Firefighters want to remind everyone that it is important to help them do their jobs by clearing hydrants.
They ask you to remove snow and ice from the hydrants and create a wide perimeter (of about three feet) around it.
Also, clear a path from it to the street.
