Light snow continues this morning...Periods of light snow will continue this morning, with the snow ending gradually from north to south across southwest Virginia and northern North Carolina late this morning into early this afternoon.
Light freezing rain and sleet will mix in with the snow at times, especially close to the Virginia/North Carolina border. Another 1 to 2 inches of snow is possible before noon, along with a light glaze of ice.
Untreated roads and sidewalks will be snow covered and slippery this morning. Slow down and plan on extra time to reach your destination if you are heading out. A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 11AM.
